Horrible, run!, February 1, 2012 By This review is from: New-Samsung Blu-Ray Disc Player - BDD5700 (Electronics) My fist "Smart" TV purchase. Not having other similar devices to compare it to I can only tell you what my experience has been as a newbie. When purchasing I recommend doing research on-line as the product boxes and sales staff weren't very helpful. For instance, one might assume (I know, I know) that the various manufacturers would make access to the most popular suppliers of on-line video available. They don't. If it doesn't SAY Amazon on the box you likely aren't going to get Amazon access. Such is the case with this device. We have an extensive Amazon collection of video material and can't access it. Why wouldn't Amazon be included? I can think of absolutely no good reason.
Second, this BBD-D5700/ZA would not work with only three bars of WiFi signal and what's worse is neither the device nor the support staff know or share this information with you. You may be left thinking there is a compatibility issue with your ISP (as did the Samsung "tech."). Their advice was to... Read more
